Newly developed bio line for bicycle cleaning and care available from mid-October.
From mid-October, we will offer our premium F100 bicycle care series - initially for the two most important products - in organic quality. The objective here is to convince environmentally conscious customers of the sustainabilty and quality of the products.
The bicycle industry has experienced a real boom this year. The trend towards bicycle usage, as well as increased environmental awareness, continues to grow. According to a recent customer survey, there is a high interest in environmentally friendly cleaning and care products.
The new F100 Bio line implements the idea of sustainability very consistently from the formula, to the packaging and the presentation of the products in the shops. Initial products will inlcude, the bicycle cleaner in the 750 millilitre spray bottle and the chain oil in the 100 millilitre dropper bottle. Other products in the F100 Bio line will follow at the start of the 2021 season.
The new F100 Bio Bicycle Cleaner is made of more than 97 percent natural and renewable raw materials, is guaranteed to be material-compatible as it is acid-free and, as with conventional products, biodegradable (as required by law). In addition, the cleaner is pH-neutral.
The F100 organic chain oil also consists of more than 90 percent renewable raw materials, is easily biodegradable according to OECD standard 301 (F) and is also a bio-based lubricant (according to DIN EN standard 16807).
Both products are fragrance and dye-free. The bottles are each made of 100% recycled plastic with labels made of proportionally environmentally friendly recycled material. A refill station with a 25-litre canister of F100 Bio Bicycle Cleaner is planned for next year.
In addition to all the environmental advantages, all F100 bio products meet our company‘s highest quality standards.
